About me

Dr Emma Honey

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist based in the North East of England. I am passionate about helping people to develop the skills and tools to lead their best lives.

My years of experience and training in the NHS and in private practice have taught me that there isn’t a ‘one size’ fits all approach to mental well-being, so everything that I do can be tailored to your needs.

I work with children, adolescents and adults to come to an understanding about why things might be difficult and how we can work together to overcome barriers and develop skills to help them set goals and achieve them.

I work with people who are struggling with their mental health. This might be anxiety or worry, perfectionism, depression or low mood, overwhelm, burnout or low self-esteem.

I have a specialist interest in neurodivergence and have over 15 years of clinical experience working with neurodivergent people to help them understand their strengths and difficulties and ensure that any therapeutic support is adapted for these.
